Many of the sandwich panels produced by Pas Panelen have an outer skin of polyester. This plastic is available in many shapes, colors and qualities. At Pas Panelen we work exclusively with high-quality Italian polyester. After all, you want to make a product with polyester panels for your customer without dents, damage or other irregularities.
Different types of polyester
At Pas Panelen we are happy to advise you on the type of polyester that is best suited for your project. You probably have high aesthetic requirements for a visible side of the sandwich panel in your end product. If the sandwich panel is not visible in your end product, a thinner, cheaper type of polyester may suffice. In our range we have polyester with a thickness of 1.1 mm, 1.4 mm, 1.6 mm, 1.8 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm. There is also a choice of polyester with or without a woven mat and different colors are available. Do you suffer from acute choice overload when you read all these options? Not necessary. Together with you, we look for the optimal balance between quality and costs.
We buy our polyester directly from the producer in Italy. This makes the chain short. In this way we limit the impact on the environment as a result of unnecessary travel movements. Moreover, the short chain leads to a high degree of flexibility and competitive prices. The polyester arrives in our warehouse on large rolls of 60 meters and is subjected to a critical quality control upon arrival. We then cut the polyester to size for your sandwich panels in our cutting hall. On our glue tables we can make polyester panels with a length of up to 15 meters and a width of 3.18 meters. Large enough to produce the walls of holiday homes or double-decker trailers, for example.
In addition to polyester panels, Pas Panelen also produces sandwich panels with an outer skin of other materials, such as aluminium. Curious about end products with aluminum sandwich panels? Then view the Lume Traveler reference.
